How this page is measured
PrePro Selects measures itself every minute, from the server it runs on. Each minute a probe asks for three addresses over HTTPS, with a full certificate check, the way your browser does: the API's health check, which also reaches the database; a client gallery page; and the home page of this website.
A minute counts as up when the API check succeeds, because a gallery cannot show a single file without the API. A minute with no measurement counts as down. A server that has stopped cannot record anything, so silence is never read as health. The figures are rounded down, never up.
Maintenance announced on this page at least 48 hours ahead is left out of the figures, up to four hours a month, as the service level agreement explains. Work at shorter notice counts as downtime.
Because the probe runs on the same server, it cannot see a problem in the network between you and us. If PrePro Selects is not working for you while this page says it is, write to support@preproselects.com and tell us where you are connecting from.
